So there are 18 days until the new Charlaine Harris book comes out... May 5th.. The 'Sookie Stackhouse' series. Most people may know it from the 'True Blood' HBO TV series. I'm addicted to both. I know there is this HUGE vampire craze right now. With 'Twilight' and 'True Blood' taking over the planet. But I have to say, I see nothing wrong with jumping on either bandwagon. I have always been a huge fantasy fiction fan. I never really got passed the wizards and magic until I read 'Twilight'. And then again after watching my first episodes of 'True Blood' last summer, I am hooked. I've read both of the series at least twice already. And I can't wait for the new 'Sookie' book, or the next 'Twilight' movie... I love how normal and every day each series seems. Not so 'out of this world'. I have tried reading other vampire series, but I just can't seem to click with them.
*sigh*
I wish I had something to read until then. But I am... picky.

Got hooked on True Blood this summer...even love the opening song. Thinking about cancelling cable..but having a hard time witht the thought of giving up True Blood..maybe I'll read the series.

i totally agree about the giving up cable thing. but i couldn't live w/out true blood OR bones! *sigh*
